Communication is one of the best liked features of Alimac tape carry handles all over the world.

It is a real point of difference compared with other handling systems and gives customers added value.

The insert (Inlay) of the tape carry handle is printable with up to 8 colours.

The artwork can have different subjects - logotype, slogan, product benefits, sale promotion, barcode and QR code. Tests, icons, images and tables - we are able to produce anything, up to detailed combinations of drafts and colours.

The artwork makes the tape carry handle a communication tool that stands out and able to reinforce:

• Brand visibility. Shelves are crowded and a coloured tape carry handle makes your packaging more eye-catching among competitors. Brand equity is reinforced by printing brand name, logotype, slogan, etc.

Artwork process: creativity and technology

Alimac six-step artwork design process ensures that every project is treated with care and attention.

This consistent approach to the development of artwork allows Alimac to provide the highest outcome for our customers:

1. Artwork Requirements: Alimac examines the artwork requirements and the customer’s existing designs and suggests improvements considering the global brand identity and product image.
2. Artwork Draft Design: Alimac designs and develops the artwork solution customized specifically for the customer’s unique needs via software.
3. Artwork digital sample: Alimac creates a digital sample so that the customer can see in detail what the artwork will look like when complete.
4. Customer approval: The customer evaluates and checks the digital sample and gives approval. In some cases, at the customer’s specific request, Alimac can send the real printing of the artwork. Alimac usually sends customer some samples of previous similar artworks. Here is an example of the approval form:

5. Production. The artwork is coupled with the film (pre-laminated carry handles) in our German plant and then the reel thus obtained is cut into smaller rolls of different sizes, ready to be packed and shipped all over the world.
6. Final step: the custom handle is manufactured, product excellence is ready for the customer.
