As anticipated in our communication dated March 11th, in response to the impact of the recent situation impacting the Middle East Region and affecting the global chemical, plastics and tapes value chain, the whole Alimac Group Team is relentlessly and proactively working to streamline procurement and production planning to secure reliable supply continuity and avoid/minimize disruptions to all our Customers and Business Partners, across every geography and segment.

According to the information collected by our main partners and thanks to the emergency initiatives actioned by our supply chain Team, we do confirm our confidence, at least in the medium term, in guaranteeing production continuity despite the extreme market volatility.

At the same time, we need to highlight our concerns about the impact of raw material prices, utilities and transportation costs that our Company is already facing effective the current month of March.

For this reason, to guarantee the sustainability of our supply chain, we regret to inform that, as anticipated, some price adjustments are becoming necessary to strictly reflect the immediate changes in the value chain costs while, at the same time, price validity can be guaranteed just for a limited period of time and subject to further adjustment by forcing us in keeping an open price list for the months of May and June.

As a further action, to smooth and optimize material utilization, we will manage the material availability by an allocation according to the historical utilization, while any extra demand request will be evaluated case by case. We do hope this can be appreciated as a further tangible sign of the Alimac Group commitment in maintaining long-term and sustainable partnerships with all our customers.

As part of the process, your assigned Area Manager, Business Development Manager and/or Customer Service Rep will remain in close contact with you to review existing orders and discuss any necessary adjustments based on the evolving market conditions, as well as to collect in advance demand information to secure supply continuity.
