Mactec was created by Alimac following an innovative strategic thought - to move Alimac tape carry handle know-how to manufacturing handle applicators.
Mactec is based on Alimac’s extensive knowledge of tape carry handles and offers a wide range of custom turnkey solutions.
Mactec professionals have many years of experience in handle applicator manufacturing. Their expertise benefits from additional know-how - hundreds and hundreds of Alimac case studies all around the world.

The AMIS is the fulcrum of the Alimac commercial offer and includes three alternative solutions:

- 2. Tape carry handle solutions
- 3. Handle applicator solutions
All the Mactec equipment is manufactured in Italy, one of the biggest exporters of packaging machines (= industrial packaging centre).
